James "Tex" & Shelley Texeira
Lead Pastors
Pastors Tex and Shelley pastored in Kona for 28 years. In September 2018, they became the lead pastors here at Overflow Church. They have a vision to build the church and reach Kohala with the Good News of Jesus. Pastor Tex is also the Assistant Superintendent of the Hawaii Assemblies of God.
Jared & Tiana Miyamoto
Site Pastors & Caretakers
Jared & Tiana Miyamoto are our newest addition to the team. They currently serve as the Site Pastors and Caretakers here at Overflow Church. Jared is presently our worship leader, as well. Jared & Tiana have experience in ministry in both the local church and in missions.
Leighton & Rhonda Bell
Board Member & Community Liaison
If there is anything that needs to be done, the Bells are there. Leighton is a OC Board Member and Rhonda is the founder and lead person of The Big Island Giving Tree. Rhonda's involvement in the community helps us stay informed of community needs. Presently, with the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Bells are the team that makes sure our facility is clean, sanitized and safe.
Chace & Ashley Cheek
Worship Team/Board Member
Chace & Ashley Cheek serve in various areas at Overflow Church. Chace is the drummer on the worship team while Ashley serves on the OC Board as treasurer. Ashley oversees our Operation Christmas Child Ministry.
